Malay Dances


Hi guys , what's up! , Okay today I'm gonna share something with your guys :) . Today , I'm gonna share about Malay's Traditional dances. As we know that Malaysia has many religious, race , culture and so on. But today I'm gonna tell you about what is exactly about Malay's traditional dances.
Malay has many type or genre of dance , example Zapin , Asli , Joget , Inang , and so on. Okay!! let me tell about a details. 


ZAPIN


Zapin is one of the popular dance in Malaysia , either Indonesia also. Zapin is very famous in Malaysia state which is Johor , Pahang and Selangor.In the old days, only males were allowed to perform; nowadays, female dancers are included. It used to be performed exclusively for religious ceremonies but through the years it has become a form of traditional entertainment, hence the participation of female dancers is allowed.example : Zapin Arab , Zapin Pulau , Zapin Tenglu , Zapin Pekajang , Zapin Lenga


  ASLI


"Tarian Asli" one of the popular too in Malaysia. It is also always performed in every state of Peninsular Malaysia. This dance also , played to the rhythm to the song and rhythm. This dance is also expressed by the movement of a soft(girls) , gentle(boys) and polite and also danced in pairs.



INANG


"Mak Inang" is a traditional Malay dance that originated from the time of Malacca Sultanate. The dance is accompanied by a unique music , which modern name is "Inang", is usually performed in social functions like wedding receptions. He believe to be compose by the order of Sultan Mahmud Shah of Malacca  In the past both song and dance was taught to the "inangin the palace" ("singer dance") for the to performed it during royal function. The dance's movement and sang are so graceful and have all the qualities for court performance. Mak Inang dance is also known as "Si Kemang Cina" reflecting the existence of Chinese influence in its music. Nowadays , the dance is refined and called with its "Inang".
